James 4:14-15 "Why you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say 'if it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that'." (v8) "Come near to God and he will come near to you" (v10) "Humble yourselves before the Lord and he will lift you up."
Each new day is a blessing from God. He created us for His purpose. He preserves our life and guides us according to His will. We must seek Him and do His will. Failure to follow Him is to sin. He will help us to be obedient.
I will seek God today and follow Him. He will make my pathway straight.
Dear Lord, please lead me and use me today. Amen.
