The Holy Spirit...

Today is New Year's Day and after reading Nicky Gumbell's devotion about new year resolutions and improving all of our relationships, especially with God, who also speaks to us through Jesus, I wanted help in improving mine as well.

In Jesus own words, he told His disciples that He would give them the Holy Spirit upon His leaving them. In my effort to learn more about The Holy Spirit, I looked for a book, which I could read in addition to the Bible to help in my devotions. I was very fortunate to find a free ebook on Gutenberg.org, entitled: "The Person and the Holy Spirit" by R.A. Torrey, a Minister, of the 1800's who died in 1928, an American evangelist, pastor, and writer.  Chapter 1 of this book is such an incredible read, I wanted to put the link in this BLOG as an option for all readers.  The link to this book, below will offer you the option of a free download or reading it online.

The very first chapter is such a valuable way to begin the New Year, 2020...I seriously believe that even if you only read chapter 1, it would be a very worthwhile read. However, my guess is that you won't be able to stop reading. Just wanted to plant the seed...go for it!
