We will all be changed...

In I Corinthians 15:51-55, we read "We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed - in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: Death has been swallowed up in victory. Where, O death is your victory? Where, O death is your sting?"

In much the same way as the dandelion must go to seed in order to produce new life, man must undergo transformation from the physical or mortal existence to a spiritual, imperishable life. As Christians, we look forward in great expectation and hope of spending eternity with our Heavenly Father.

All we have to do is accept the free gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, who paid the ultimate price for each of us. Praise God for giving us His Son so that we might be able to spend eternity praising Him with all of the heavenly hosts!
