Luke 17 tells us "Once having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, 'The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say "here it is" or "there it is" because the kingdom of God is within you.' "This perhaps can be less confusing by substituting "among you" for "within you." As we build a body of believers here on earth, where we have relationship with God and with each other, we experience just a glimpse of the joy, happiness, peace and fulfillment that will be perfectly experienced in Heaven for eternity by those who love God.
Dear Sovereign God, please help us to obediently follow your leading today, according to your will. Amen.
