We read in Psalm 8:3-4 "When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him?"God created all that is and He created man, on-going. Reading further in Psalm 8, we read 'He made us ruler over His works'. God gave us a superior intellect and freedom to choose or not to choose Him. How arrogant are we who deny His Sovereignty and live in our own self-importance?
God is in control of all things in spite of our sinfulness. Let us pray that God will forgive our arrogant, sinful ways, that He will lead us each day and give us the courage and the ability to be obedient to His Holy Spirit. Amen.
