Unity in the Body of Christ

Paul writes in his letter to the Ephesians 4:1-3, "As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."

He is writing while in a Roman prison and is urging them, and us, to live a life worthy of the calling we have received. I believe this requires us to obediently seek and follow the leading of the Holy spirit in our life.

In much the same way as this prayer circle represents Unity in the Body of Christ, these interlinked rings could represent unity and wholeness of the trinity... Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Through obedience to the prompting of the Holy Spirit in our lives, we will experience the bond of peace and be as one with others and in the unity of the Spirit.

Dear Father in Heaven, please make us one in the Body of Christ. Amen.
