This is the current project I am working on. It's a toy chest for Avery for her 2nd birthday.It still needs friction hinges so she won't get hurt if the top tries to close on her little fingers. I plan to put a satin polyurethane finish on it so it will match her other furniture. Oh by the way, it is made of ash harvested from my back yard and measures 1 cubit high, 1 cubit deep and 2 cubits long.
Well, I finished Avery's Toychest and gave it to her after her birthday. However, I managed to capture a picture of Avery at her birthday party while visiting us from Indiana. She's "Grandpa's sweet girl."
